Scope and Content:
Interview with Evena Morris about her life in England after moving there from Grenada in 1962. Her daughter is also present and occasionally speaks.

[00:00:] Her decision to move to England in March 1962 to improve her family's position; her origins in Grenada; leaving her six children with her mother to move to England; opportunities in England.

Evena Morris was born in Grenada in 1927. She had six children. In 1962, she moved to England to improve her position for herself and her family. She worked mainly in clothing manufacturing factories in East London. She gradually brought her children over to join her in England.
