At back: note, 1943, that Revd William Ormrod, vicar, died on 16 May 1943 aged 67 and was buried in the churchyard on 20 May; the Rural Dean took the service and all clergy in the Deanery attended. The Revd Ernest E. Lilley was appointed priest-in-charge, having acted in an honorary capacity during the illness of the vicar.
