Rutland) esq., and William Busby, Fellow of New College, Oxford; (ii) William Richardson of Kings Wood House, nr. Findon (co. Sussex), esq. (eldest son and heir of Barbara Richardson, formerly Barbara Johnson, spr., daughter and co-heiress of Rich. Johnson, decd., the heir-at-law of John Johnson, citizen of London, distiller, decd.) and James Pigot Ince of Great Brickhill (co. Bucks.), esq. (son and heir-at-law of Mary Ince, formerly Mary Johnson, daughter and co-heiress of Richard Johnson, decd.); (iii) Geo. Chad of Thursford (co. Norf.). esq.

Cornard, lying nr. a bush called Patrick's Thorn E. and abtg. on Maples Field on S., a lane leading towards Saywers on W. and land of Mr. de Grey, in occupation of Robert Cook, on N., and a piece of arable land (12a.) divided into 4 enclosures, with a small barnthereon, formerly in occupation of George Payne, since of Henry Wright, all in Bures alias Bures St. Mary, cornard, Assington and Newton (all co. Excepts remainder of a mortgage term of 1,000 years (as in a mortgage between John Bourne and Mary Crispe, 18 February 1688), to be assigned by indenture of evendate to Sir Harboard Harboard, bart., in trust for (iii) to attend the ineritance; lease for 14 years (to commance in 1769) 20 January 1763, by James Quilter and wife Ancilla to Hen. Gusterson for £85 annually, annuity of £30 for life bequeathed to Mary Lees under Will of Ancilla Quilter, from payment of which (i) have indemified (iii) by an indenture of even date; quit rents payable to the manors of Bures, Cornhall, Peacock Hall and the Honour of Clare and charities payable to Lawshall, Borley and Lt. Cornard.
Recites: (a) Conveyance (Lease and Release) and Assignment in Trust for mutual love and an annuity of £400, 7,8 March 1734, bet. (i) Ancilla Bate, (ii) James Quilter of Hadley (co. Middx.), gent., and wife Ancilla (only surviving child and heiress of Dyer Bate of London, mercer, decd., and granddau. of Ancilla Bate); (iii) John Johnson, citizen of London, distiller; (b)Will, 3 1766, and Codicils, 18 July 1767 and 2 December 1771, of Ancilla Quilter and that the Will was proved by her sole executor, James Quilter; (c) death of James Quilter, 19 September 1777, and inheritance of property as in 84/161 by Mary Dolby, Tomlinson Henry Busby and William Busby, residuary legatees under the Will of Ancilla Quilter; (d) inheritance by Wm. Richardson and James Pigot Ince of property as above in trust, under terms of Conveyance as in (a) above after death of John Johnson.

Endorsed: (i) Receipt of £1,200; (ii) Receipt, 5 May 1780, of £488 from George Chad as payment of a legacy to William Jackson under Will of quilter; (iii)Receipt, 5 May 1780, of £159 7s. 5d. by Eliz. Ancilla Lake from Geo. Chad as part of her legacy of £500 under Will of Ancilla Quilter and release of her interest in property as above in consideration thereof
