Scale of 13.3 inches to 1 mile.

Map of about 1500 acres in Great Henny (including former detached parts) and south of Bulmer, with small areas in south of Middleton, south of Little Henny, north-west of Twinstead, north of Lamarsh and between Edwardstone and Groton, Suffolk. Shows field-names; names of owners and of some adjacent owners; woodland; strips in open fields and common meadows ('the pricked lines signifie baulkes'); Bulmer Tye, Twinstead Tye and 'Cadly Cross'; and wayside cross called Potter Cross. Buildings, including Great Henny, Twinstead and Lamarsh churches, Lamarsh and Great Henny rectories, [? Auberies], manor of Borehouse, Suffolk, Henny watermill and 'Loshes' watermill (on a tributary of the Stour), drawn in perspective view. Distinguishes by colour the boundary of the manor of Great Henny, demesne, freehold, copyhold, lands of the 'newe feofment', lands of other manors 'lienge intermixte', greens and glebe. Compass rose; scale bar ('scala vigint quatuor'); cartouche, resembling the work of the school of Norden.
