Monumental inscriptions in the church and churchyard of St Lawrence and in Mill Lane Cemetery, recorded c.1985.

Monuments in churchyard include war memorial, presented 1918 by Sir Edwin Dunning, to men of Bradfield who served (not merely those killed) in First World War; memorial to his son Edwin Harris Dunning of HMS Furious (also commemorated in the church), killed 1917 after becoming 'the first officer to land an aeroplane successfully on the deck of a ship underway'; memorial to Alfred Barlow, (born Blackmore 1836, died Ipswich 1906) 'the recognized Father of the Press in the late Orange Free State, and for many years a ... member of the Volksraad of that Republic'.
Monuments in church include memorials to men of Horsley Cross Hamlet who served and died in First and Second World Wars (removed 1972 from St John's Church, Horsley Cross); list of vicars.
