Scope and Content:
Not to scale, but about 10 inches to 1 mile.
Greater part of Waltham Holy Cross, west of Epping and small parts in south of Nazeing and west of Loughton. Shows names of parks and lanes; forest walks; the 'Pittancerye'; 'Do. Ed. Denny Mil'. A few buildings, including Copthall [Copped Hall] and, on the River Lea, a watermill and a fulling mill, drawn in elevation or perspective view, but no field boundaries or other details usually found on estate maps.
