Cookery book, with sections for preserves, cordials and wines, cakes, sweets, pastries and pies, meat and fish, pickles, medicines, salves and ointments, and contemporary index. At end, a large number of later additions in different hands.

Admin History:
Elizabeth Slany was born near Worcester, and married Benjamin Lehook of Acton, Middlesex, factor; she died in 1786, aged 93. Her daughter Elizabeth Lehook (died 1799) married Samuel Wegg of Acton (1723-1802), son of George Wegg of Colchester. For further details see John H.
