A messuage in South Weald in occupation of Mary Brecknock widow by lease from Wright and Neville Ridley esq., from year to year, at £26 rent; charged with an annual crown fee from rent of 6s.
A messuage called the Chequer Inn with 10 acres of meadow in the township of Brentwood and parish of South Weald and 26 acres of pasture and arable in Shenfield in occupation of Gabriel Lambert innkeeper, leased by Peter Monger esq. (deceased) to James Barnes, chapman, at £50 reserved rent; charged with quit rent of £1. 1s. 8d. payable to the lords of the 'respective manors'.
16 acres of woodland called Stulpes Grove now unlet; 2 parcels of meadow called Stuples Meads in occupation of Thomas Fuller by lease from Wright; and Neville Riddley, esq., from year to year at £2 10s. rent; a cottage in occupation of John Stowers by lease from Wright and Neville Ridley esq., from year to year, at £ 5s rent; charged with quit rent of 8d. payable to lord of the manor of Shenfield; all in Shenfield .
Of which Wright is seised of an equitable estate in fee simple.
