Shows woodland; water; three detached parts in Bowers Gifford ('Bowers Marshes'), Canvey Island and Corringham ('Fobbing Marshes') [which were merged into those parishes in 1888, 1880 and 1888 respectively]. Buildings shown in block plan and coloured pink or black [probably to distinguish inhabited buildings from uninhabited ones]. Polar indicator.
