Scope and Content:
'Register of proceedings in matters relating to allotments, volume 2' [title page], recording minutes, accounts etc. of committee relating to provision of allotments for poor. Recorded meetings were infrequent after the mid nineteenth century, and the final minutes record the committee's dissolution.
Includes names of allotment holders; printed rules for occupiers of allotments, 29 December 1830 (pasted in, p. 51), endorsed with agreement to hire allotment; report on allotments, with list of prizewinners, October 1841 (pp. 101-103); printed rules, 20 November 1848 (pasted in, p. 208), endorsed with minutes; diagrams of allotments (pp. 308-316); register of agreements to hire allotments, 1834-1841, with signatures or marks and addresses of holders (pp. 320-337); indexes of names of allotment holders and of subjects [apparently incomplete].
