COURT IN SESSION: SESSIONS ROLL EASTER 1676
Scope and Content:
Recognizance of Thomas Plum tailor, James Reeve yeoman, both of "Hedingham Sible", and Joseph Reeve of Gosfield yeoman; whereas Plum, being one of the constables, id refuse to receive and execute a warrant from the said justice (John Marshall) to either of the petty constables of "Hedingham Sible" for the levying of 20 li. 5s. on Henry Wilkenson thereof, doctor of divinity, as well for his own offence of preaching at a conventicle as also for his wife being present, of which they stand convicted; Plum to appear and abide the order of the Court. To the next Sessions.
